These days, many people have different ideas about music lessons in schools. Some think all children must learn music, but others say it wastes time. I will discuss both sides and give my opinion.

People who support music lessons say they are good for children’s brains. When kids learn music, they become better at remembering things and working with others. Also, music makes children happy and helps them enjoy school more.

On the other hand, some people think schools should focus on subjects like math and science. They believe these subjects are more important for getting good jobs in the future. They also say that music takes time away from studying these important subjects.
